So, in spirit of moratorium and exam week coming up, I deactivated facebook on January 10th. This was supposed to motivate me to work harder and not to waste so much time on facebook. At first, the time spent not on facebook was used quite wisely; the first day without it, my math productivity went up approximately 66.7% (though it did go back down afterwards).
It has been eight days since I deactivated and I am currently facing some sort of withdrawal disorder. Characterized by an impulsive urge to stalk random friends' profiles, to look through photos, to uncover up wall-to-walls between your friends and their friends (who may or may not be your friends), I have realized that facebook stalking might not only be creepy, but also unhealthy for my real life relationships. Though, ever since I deactivated, I've been talking to people more often in person and on MSN :)
However, it still remains that I have a ton of summatives to do and this week is going to be really intense and hectic (and not to mention stressful). And I'm using the time for research to write this post. :|
It doesn't really help that I've started using twitter (more and more often) and that's probably not going to be very beneficial LOL
